The stunning Kokoro in full winter glory.

1. Local Knowledge

The staff and owners of The Niseko Company are in Niseko full time. We ride the same runs, visit the same restaurants and understand Niseko from a visitor's perspective as well as a residents. Our bi-lingual staff have in depth understanding of everything from the best ski school to getting seats in the heavily booked and most popular restaurants. This is all part of what makes our concierge service a very personal operation. The fact that a huge percentage of our guests are return visitors with the The Niseko Company is testament to this local knowledge.

2. Location

The majority of our properties are located centrally in Hirafu with quick and easy access to all the resorts, restaurants and shopping as well as the shuttle bus services. If you are planning to venture further afield (Hello Rusutsu, Kiroro and Moiwa) most of our properties include a van that can be provided as part of the package for guests holding a full international drivers licence as well as their own country of origin licence.

3. Cost

Based on a per bed cost the rate to rent one of our luxury homes will generally present far better value than "Condominium" style accommodation if you are a large group or a family. Think big spacious rooms, comfortable media rooms, fully set-up gear rooms, amazing showers and bathrooms, in house saunas and hot tubs. The atmosphere of your group or family together all enjoying the warmth of a truly special home while the world famous Niseko powder snow falls outside is an experience not equalled in other types of high density Niseko accommodation.

5. Established 2006

Nobody has been involved with luxury homes in Niseko for longer than our group and the fact that many of our guests go on to have us build their custom Niseko home via our sister company West Canada Homes is endorsement of our long standing commitment to the region and the faith international visitors have in us. We were the first to build luxury homes in Niseko, we have been the leading luxury home rental manager for over a decade, we have passed the Niseko test of time and look forward to seeing visitors old and new to Niseko enjoy the benefits of this.

NIseko

Yes it's a brave call we know and apologies for the click-bait style subject line but we do have some semi-science and over 12 years first hand experience behind it, we also know Niseko and snowfall is an exception to the norm everywhere else.

No doubt you've all heard online about how last January was an amazing month, and we are pretty sure if you spoke to anyone who was in Niseko last January they would be still talking about the record breaking snowfall, "Best in 20 years", "It dumped every day", "They were lighting their fires with any ski's that weren't fat ski's" etc etc. The truth is last January was pretty normal, deeper than the previous January but really just the normal freakish accumulation of powder snow Niseko gets each winter.

Niseko

Looking at January in the last 60 years 40 of them have actually shown larger January snowfall totals putting the odds of this January being a bumper year in the fairly good to sure-bet bracket, hence our call on the forecast. This and the incredible quality of our powder snow is the main reason Niseko is considered the world's premium powder snow destination and our collection of Niseko's best luxury residences is why we are considered Asia's leading provider of luxury snow vacation accommodation. January is the peak of our winter season falling after the mayhem of the Xmas break and before the mass migration that is Chinese New Year. This makes January one of the best times to visit for a Niseko ski holiday. This is especially so if you are from Australia where it's summer holidays, boiling hot and finding a car-park at the beach is like finding a needle in a haystack while inside a giant oven. Niseko is the perfect overseas cool change.
