Niseko rafting trips are great fun for families, youth groups, school trips, adventure seekers or nature lovers.

Numerous outdoor centres in Niseko offer a variety of water activities ranging from two hours to a full day trip! Choose from the following activities and let our staff arrange your fun-filled outdoor adventures


Enjoy rafting down the Shiribetsu River. In Spring, the water levels rise producing thrilling Grade 3-4 rapids. This is the best time for exciting rapids. Summer rafting is more relaxed and family oriented with Grade 1-2 rapids and spectacular views, perfect for children and beginners.

Ducky is an exciting and challenging way to travel down the river. There are duckies for single riders or for pairs. Ducky, unlike rafting, gives you the freedom to choose your own path with the full support from an experienced guide.

Sea Kayaking

If you have never tried visiting the oceans in Hokkaido, let expert guides introduce you to a completely new scenery in Otaru area. Sitting at sea level as you glide across the water surface is an amazing experience for families and other adventurers.

The Shiribetsu River is famous for its rare Japanese huchen. Other fish such as the Rainbow trout, red-spotted masu salmon, Japanese char can also be found in the river, so this activity is perfect for those who enjoy bait fishing.
