Summer is underway in Niseko and the colors are out.

The Colors Of Summer

Niseko's Green Season is in full cry.

The flower garden in the video above is located in Kutchan town and has been grown by Mr Mishima a retired farmer. This is one of Niseko's great summer attractions. This garden of flowers features a backdrop of Mt Yotei and has been painstakingly nurtured over many years. There are walking paths that transect the garden and several different vantage points to take in the colourful spectacle. Spread over nearly 4000 M2 This is a must see attraction.

Cool shady lakes and forest areas abound in Niseko.

A summer visit to Niseko and our mild daytime temperatures and cool evenings make for a perfect escape from the heat and humidity experienced in other parts of Asia. Ask any long term Niseko visitor about the Green Season and most will say they came for the snow but stay for the Summer.

Along with this flower garden the summer activities in Niseko stack up to fill any stay with a "Which one today" roster. As summer progresses the amazing local produce will steadily increase, the golf courses will become more and more attractive and the whole region comes alive, peaking with life and activity right through till mid October when the whole cycle reverses before our legendary winter begins.
