Safety is paramount to us here at The Niseko Company, and with the global pandemic we have implemented new practices and flexibility in our booking terms.

New Practices and Cancellation Policies 2020-21

Safety is paramount to us here at The Niseko Company, and with the global pandemic we have implemented new practices and flexibility in booking terms to give our guests reassurances whilst still offering high quality service to enjoy Niseko in one of our beautiful homes.

As the situation is ever evolving we will continue to monitor and introduce measures where necessary.

Cleaning and Protection Supplies

Alongside our usual cleaning practices, we also will be conducting additional sanitization of high touch areas throughout our homes using high alcohol content regulatory approved cleaning products.

Our response is made following the World Health Organisation and Japan Health Department advice and protocol in the prevention of COVID 19 including the use of personal protective equipment, such as masks and gloves by our staff and disinfectants that are approved by regulatory authorities. Personal protective equipment, hand sanitizer and cleaning disinfectants will also be provided in house for use by guests.

High Quality Service

Though our operating practices will be different, we still intend to offer the same standards of service our guests have enjoyed in previous years.

Check in procedures will be slimmed down to practice social distancing, but our Concierge team will be on hand to assist with all aspects of your stay pre arrival and once you are here in Niseko. Be it booking ski lessons, restaurants or having groceries delivered to your home, our Niseko based international Concierge team will be happy to advise and assist.

We are working with our partner airport transfer company and can ensure that all vehicles are disinfected between groups of guests and that protective items are on hand and available to all travelling throughout the journey.

What if I am unable to travel to Japan?

In the case of international travel restrictions being in place and Japanese border closures for the dates of your stay, The Niseko Company will allow for greater flexibility in moving stays dates within the current ski season, and in the case of rescheduling not being possible, shall offer a refund in full (minus credit card and banking fees).

Quarantine measures

In the case of quarantine measures being in place for arrivals into Japan or on return to your country of travel, we will allow for the option of rescheduling stay dates with no amendment fees, and in the case of rescheduling not being possible, shall offer a refund in full (minus credit card and banking fees).

Travel Insurance and Terms & Conditions

For all of our guests we strongly advise that comprehensive travel insurance covering against cancellations, personal accident, medical expenses, and lost or stolen baggage is in place before you travel.
